Free trial

How the trial works

  • Kyōfolio includes a 30-day free trial
  • No credit card required to start
  • You get access to the full product during the trial
  • You won’t be charged automatically when the trial ends
  • You’ll see a reminder banner at the top of the app throughout your trial

What happens when the trial ends

When your 30 days are up:

  • you’ll be prompted to subscribe if you’d like to keep using Kyōfolio
  • if you don’t subscribe, you can still log in, but you’ll be locked behind a paywall screen
  • you can still access your Profile (including subscription management)

Your data is not deleted if you don’t subscribe. You can come back later and continue once your subscription is active.

Pricing

Kyōfolio is currently billed annually:

  • $96 / year (billed annually)

How to subscribe

You can subscribe anytime during or after the trial:

  1. Go to Profile → Subscription
  2. Choose the annual plan
  3. Enter payment details at checkout
  4. Confirm subscription

Your subscription starts immediately after payment.

Auto-renewal

  • Subscriptions renew automatically each year unless canceled
  • Your renewal date is based on when you subscribe

Managing billing

Update payment method

You can manage billing from Profile → Subscription.

Kyōfolio uses Stripe for billing, and we provide access to the standard Stripe customer portal to:

  • update your payment method
  • view billing history
  • download receipts
  • cancel your subscription

If you ever can’t access the customer portal, email [email protected] and we’ll help.

Receipts and invoices

  • Receipts are available in the Stripe customer portal
  • Receipts are also typically emailed after successful payment

Invoices may also be available depending on Stripe settings, but receipts are the primary record.

Changes, tiers, and proration

Right now Kyōfolio has:

  • one plan (annual)
  • no add-ons

There are currently:

  • no upgrades/downgrades
  • no proration scenarios

(Keeping it simple is a feature.)

Refunds

Kyōfolio’s policy is no refunds after purchase, except in cases of:

  • duplicate charges
  • incorrect charges
  • accidental renewals (if you contact us promptly)

If you believe you were charged incorrectly—or you renewed by mistake—email [email protected] and we’ll help.

Common questions

Do I need a credit card for the trial?

No. The trial starts with just an email signup.

Will I be charged automatically when the trial ends?

No. You choose if/when to subscribe.

What happens if I don’t subscribe after the trial?

You can still log in, but you’ll be locked behind a paywall screen. Your data stays safe.

How do I cancel?

What if I’m charged incorrectly?

Email [email protected] and include:

  • the email on your Kyōfolio account
  • the date of the charge
  • a screenshot of the receipt (if possible)
